Where to begin...

I tried to write a post or two this summer,

even saved one in " drafts."

Just never felt quite right

about just diving back in.

After being gone for so long, it's hard to know where to start. And of course the longer I'm gone the harder it becomes.

Do I stick with the "art stuff" or try and explain why I've been gone so long? Does it really matter? Probably not. But I'm here now, with two shows fast approaching and since the art and my life are so closely entertwined anyhow, we'll give it a go...

besides, today (or what is left of today) is Dia de los Muertos! and I'm sure my Milagra girls in heaven will be right here as they always are, whenever I need them.

So what have I been doing lately, besides working my day jobs, driving kids to sports practice and trying to help my Mom secure the purchase of the "short sale" house next
door? (Yep it's true!tremendously exciting, stressful, hopeful and even a little fun)

For the wee hours left in between these things known simply as "life", I'm getting ready for a show! Here's a few peaks at some new stuff.

Still working with lots of brass,

and as always the vintage components I love, but these multi-strand pieces have been really fun.

So this weekend I'll be at 29th annual Holiday Faire in Irvine on Friday Nov.4 from 5-9pm and Saturday the 5th from 9 a.m.-4p.m. (I've lalso isted it as an Event on my Bella Luna Arts Facebook page.)

I'm so looking forward to being out among my art friends again, so if you're in town or around this weekend, be sure to stop by the show and say Hi. And if you're not, just stop by here, leave a comment or a message on my Bella Luna Arts Facebook page. It always means so much to me to hear from you. Thanks for taking the time to check in with me once again.

Take care,

stay inspired,

Bridgette :)

Hi There and so nice to see you again. That's okay if you have been away for a long time, at least you stopped by to say hi to us all and that alone is very nice. I was looking at your Grandma Trini and she looks so happy. Looks like everyone was in the kitchen cooking something good. Ah memories, wonderful memories. You have been busy and I hope that short sale goes through. Good luck, love your work and good to see you. Take care.

Sweet Friend! We all missed you at GF and many mentioned you! I am sorry I have not kept in touch. My life has had some rather serious trials this year, past 4 the most. I am barely holding it all together too, but we just DO! I am so happy you are back and will be at GF in Spring! Much Love to you!!!
XOXO,
Lisa

Glad you are back to blogging. I think if I stop for a long period of time, I probably won't come back. Too easy to get lost in "life"

What fun that your mother may live next door. How wonderful.

Your jewelery sparkles and ignites energy as usual. Good luck on upcoming show.

WELCOME BACK!
Warm wishes,
Cheryl
